Why is baptism important? Isn’t just believing enough?

God’s Kingdom on earth. We posted some IGTVs recently talking about the Kingdom and giving lots of details on topics such as what it is, who might be there, why we would want to be there, and how we can be a part of it. Check them out!

A voice from heaven was heard at Jesus’ baptism, speaking the above words. This was God’s way of showing His approval at Jesus’ baptism- the voice continued, ‘hear him’.

The Bible teaches that God is one. The passage above is a quotation from the Old Testament is Deuteronomy 6 v 4 when Moses speaks God’s words to the people of Israel.

There's something magical about baking isn't there? The individual ingredients aren't much use (I don't tend to snack on flour) but when combined they make something so much more valuable than the sum of the individual parts. I will never understand how it works!
